Here you can find all you need to know about Nina and her art:

Alpine metal wall art:

Photographic Alpine images captured in and around the mountain resorts of the Portes Du Soleil (Les Gets, Morzine, Avoriaz and beyond). Skilfully turned into striking metal wall art.

Depending on their position and the light available, the images ‘change’ as they reflect the light and colours of your home, ski chalet or holiday let.

Black and white images will generally look silver and the highlights in the colour images will shine bright.

I shoot the initial photographs with a Sony camera and carefully edit them with Photoshop – specifically with the end product in mind. The resulting artistic images are then printed on ready-to-hang contemporary brushed aluminium.

Which picture should I choose?

Is that blank bit of wall getting on your nerves? Are you struggling to decide which image will look best? Or do you have a very specific image you want? – If it’s the latter, let’s talk!

  • The first thing to decide on will be what size and orientation (portrait or landscape) you have space for.
  • Secondly – Do you prefer black & white or colour? – This is simply your personal preference.
  • Third, check out this link: Nina Clare Image List – Here you will find today’s available pictures, sorted by colour/black & white and portrait / landscape orientation with a checklist of the available sizes. Helpful, huh?! 🤓

If you would like to purchase images for your property in the Portes du Soleil, I have a selection in stock and can make arrangements if you’d like to have a look before you buy. (Or see ‘local stockists’ below.)

Delivery charges are 15 Euros per image (within Europe).

Outside of Europe, delivery is 20 Euros per image.

Cost will be confirmed before you pay for your order.

Delivery to the UK and Europe will be within 2 weeks. For worldwide delivery, please allow up to 3 weeks.

All images can be delivered directly to the address of your choice and will arrive ready to hang. You just need to supply the wall fixings (picture hooks or screws).

Sizes:

Images can be ordered from 30cm x 20cm up to a maximum size of 180cm x 120cm (but you’ll need to get in touch if you want something this special!).

Custom sizes can also be arranged.

Due to the way that some images have been photographed, they may have a maximum size limit. This is to retain the integrity of the image.

All available sizes are indicated on the product listing (click on each image) or see this file for an up-to-date checklist.

Black & white or colour… any colour?

Almost all of the images you see on this website and the Instagram and Facebook pages can be printed in black & white OR colour.

Colours of an image can also be altered to suit your needs, for example when designing interiors, the image colours can be made to match or contrast with your accent colour.

After care:

Your wall art can be gently cleaned with a dry duster or damp cloth. Do not to use cleaning products – If you need to remove dirt, clean water should be sufficient.

Limited Editions:

If you would like to discuss a commission or limited edition print please get in touch via the ‘contact‘ form.

About me:

Nina Clare Alps photographer self portrait

I grew up in Lancashire, England and since 2016 I have been living in the beautiful ski resort of Les Gets in the French Alps. Together with my husband and our two kids, we ‘upped sticks’ from the UK to follow our dream of living in the mountains.

Being relatively close to home and with an established English speaking ex-pat community, we decided that the huge Portes du Soleil mountain biking and ski area could offer us everything we were looking for – without the long journey to another continent (although a move to Canada would have been MUCH easier in terms of the language barrier! Ha!)

Creative photography has always been a passion of mine. Having such stunning scenery on the doorstep makes me get “up and at them”.

During hikes, trail runs, mountain biking, skiing or snowboarding, I’m inspired by the breathtaking sights of the area.

‘Those’ blue skies, lush green mountain sides, brilliant sunshine and ALL the weather have allowed me to get out and capture a variety of scenes from sunrise to sunset.

I’m excited to share these images with you and hope that you get as much pleasure out of them as I do!
